Garmin’s fēnix® 7 Smartwatches feature a new touchscreen interface for quick access to selections and functions, with button control also still included as an option. This series is available in three model sizes (7S = 42mm case, 7 = 47mm case, 7X = 51mm case) and three unique editions: Standard, Solar, and Sapphire Solar, each of which is broken down in the comparison guide below.

All versions of the fēnix® 7 are GPS-enabled and uniquely optimized for runners, skiers, cyclers, swimmers, surfers, and adventure seekers, with various specialized training programs and features, including sport-specific performance metrics, grade-adjusted pacing guidance, ClimbPro, Topo Maps, and ABC Sensors (barometric altimeter, weather barometer, 3-axis electronic compass). There’s also wrist-based heart rate monitoring, sleep/altitude monitoring, stress and hydration tracking, calorie/step counts, and much more. The watch’s rugged yet sophisticated design is tested to U.S. military standards for thermal, shock, and water resistance, and features a comfortable Quickfit band and an always-on display with a clear, vibrant picture.
